Sabrina L. Miller

Sabrina L. Miller is the Senior Communications Officer at The Joyce Foundation, where she eads the Foundation’s comprehensive external communications and media engagement, and manages the Foundation's social media content and strategy.

A gifted storyteller, strategist and connector, Sabrina has more than 30 years of experience as a communications professional and previously led her own media management and consulting firm, South Loop Media LLC, where she managed a national roster of philanthropy, nonprofit, and public affairs campaigns and clients. Sabrina also previously led communications for several State of Illinois agencies and initiatives, including the Illinois Department of Veterans Affairs, Illinois Department of Public Health, and the state's “Get Covered Illinois” health insurance marketplace.

As an award-winning journalist, Sabrina worked as a staff writer for the Tampa Bay Times, The Miami Herald, and the Chicago Tribune, where she was the first staffer selected for the prestigious Pew Fellowship in International Journalism. Sabrina is a Chicago native, a proud south sider, and a graduate of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
