Melody Morgan

Morgan joined AHCJ as its first development officer in 2023 with the goal of strengthening relationships with partners and stakeholders through communication and connection. She loves the work of building capacity for the health journalism ecosystem. Morgan brings 13 years of nonprofit development experience serving in executive roles at community-based nonprofits focused on children and families. She also taught for four years as an adjunct professor for the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare. Morgan enjoys family dinners, long chats with friends, and paddle-boarding at Shawnee Mission Lake. She is an avid audiobook listener and Messenger coffee is her favorite.
