Julita Bailey-Vasco

Julita Bailey-Vasco is the Senior Associate Director of Communications for the Harvard & the Legacy of Slavery Initiative, where she leads the development of its communications strategy. Previously, she led communications at the Nellie Mae Education Foundation, focusing on racial equity in public education across New England. Bailey-Vasco has extensive experience in strategic communications, racial equity, and postsecondary education from roles at JFF, Bunker Hill Community College, and Eastern Nazarene College. Julita loves hiking, yoga, and hanging out with her shepsky, Scout.
