Katie Peshek

About

Katie Peshek joined Rose Community Foundation in December 2018. As the director of communications and outreach, Peshek supports and implements the strategy of the communications team and works closely with leadership, grantmaking and philanthropic staff to highlight the Foundation’s community impact. Previously, she was the marketing and outreach manager for the National Conference of State Legislatures, a bipartisan organization serving the nation’s state legislators and legislative staff. Prior to NCSL, she worked for the Colorado Forum, a statewide public policy association, providing communications and event management support.

Peshek is a native of Tucson, Arizona and holds a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree in organizational management from the University of Colorado Denver Business School. She serves on the board of directors for Littleton Public Schools Foundation, on the leadership team for ComNetworkDENVER and the steering committee for National Philanthropy Day Colorado. In her free time, she enjoys exploring the great outdoors with her husband and two young sons.
