Katie Fogleman

Katie is a native North Carolinian and perennial optimist who has more than a decade of experience in social change communications. She currently serves as Director of Communications at the Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation, an organization working to build a just, inclusive and sustainable North Carolina.

Since graduating from Duke University with a degree in international studies and history, Katie has taught middle school Spanish in rural NC; produced videos across the globe; worked on international media campaigns for environmental and human rights issues; and partnered with nonprofits and foundations across issue areas to communicate their work in simple, compelling ways. She most recently served as vice president at Burness, a DC-based social impact communications firm.
