Courtney Weider

Courtney Weider collaborates with internal departments and external partners to plan and implement communication strategies that advance the organization’s mission, grantmaking efforts and global reach. Her duties include content development, media relations and monitoring, marketing, public relations, internal communications, and online platforms to ensure brand consistency and coordination of messages through digital, print and social media. Prior to her work at the Foundation, Weider served as marketing manager at La Ventana Treatment Programs, where she organized marketing and outreach initiatives while generating original content for digital platforms. After years of working in marketing and communications within the behavioral health field, she remains a passionate advocate for mental health awareness. Weider graduated summa cum laude with a bachelor’s degree in theatre arts from San Diego State University, and is currently working toward her master’s degree in mass communication at California State University, Northridge. She also holds a paralegal certificate in family law, and is a certified domestic violence advocate.
